Managing projects is both a science and an art. Our consultants are not only well-versed in project tools such as MS Project, but they possess excellent people skills and team building skillsets which comprise the “art” of managing projects. Standard deliverables such as building charter, resources list, project plan, variance reporting, budget tracker, issues tracker and action items, weekly leadership meetings, team status meetings are some of the tasks that our consultants handled successfully. Our consultants achieved outstanding results leveraging other Microsoft products such as Excel to save licensing costs on MS Project. For more details click here. Our consultants have over 20 years of SAP experience mainly in the technical or development area. They are well versed in ABAP (SAP’s programming language) but also competent in other SAP development languages like Abap Web dynpro, business server pages, integration tools like DCOM, API’s and more. Combining this talent with soft skills in managing resources spread over distant geographic areas makes them formidable in their field. Our consultants have taken the guess work out of the determining estimates for development objects on the basis of their type and complexity to derive estimates for analysis, design, build and test phases which help expedites project plan creation and adds more science than guess work. We had an opportunity to manage a S4 Hana upgrade (1809) project from ECC 6.0 (EHP 8) system. It included Hana 2.0 upgrade and CVI implementation as well. SAP modules such as SD, FICO, MM, P2P, BI, PI, BPC, Security and EHSM were involved. It was a 14 month initiative with over 55 resources and design led by SAP. Click here more details.
One of our premier clients went with Vendavo to derive dynamic pricing for their materials which was then fed back to SAP. The challenge was to integrate Vendavo with SAP for both the one time mass load and then on a post go-live basis. Our consultant lead the project by building the mass migration, pre-conversion and post conversion validation tools using MS Excel. The project took the usual SDLC path of analysis, design and build but due to time scarcity all that was done in the matter of 3 months. They also managed to perform 8 mock test load cycles to refine the data and load process. Click here to review our work.
Due to challenges presented by a mobile workforce it became imperative to manage their productivity and the assets utilization required to execute a work order. A 3rd party workforce/field mobility management software “Clickschedule” was implemented. Master and transaction data pertaining to crews and materials/services were extracted, transformed and loaded from an ERP system to ClickSchedule. SAP data conversion (ETL)
The parent firm acquired an oil rig servicing firm Multi-Chem which serviced rigs throughout the South-West US. To derive the benefits of the acquisition and cut down redundancy it was decided to migrate business processes (FI, OTC, FSCM, sales agreement and treater trucks) and data from the Oracle EBS system to SAP. We managed a $2M and 20 resources SDLC project of integrating SAP processes such as OTC, SCM, MFG, P2P and FA (click here for the details). The method selected to migrate master and transaction data was to use secure FTP with data extract and transformation done in Oracle system and loads in SAP. We created project plans, variance reports, SAP CTS release schedules, RFC, conversion trackers, metrics and load summaries. Click here to review our work.
The objective of this SAP bolt-on was to create a cost-savings alternative to index a vendor invoice to the SAP document number. With the click of a button ,the invoice image would get linked to the SAP document number displayed in the transaction screen. The link would stored in a SQL server database. The software used was SAP user-exits, VBA, e-fileclerk dll (screen scraper api) and SAP Dcom. Click here for more details.

Legacy contract records migration for old SQL server system to new SQL server system. Not only it involved migrating records but also matching the picklist values to the new schema. Also over 140K attachments such as contract pdf, large notes as pdf were also migrated to new content repository and linked back to the new SQL server schema. SQL programs and console programming were created for ETL purposes.
